oh my!damn that GST hike.

hiaz. why must the GST be increased to 7%? my dad say it actually saves money since there will be some tax rebate or decrease or sth. aiya, i don't understand, but the bottomline is that ppl who pay for income tax don't have to pay so much or sth. but it affects ppl like me!!! because i end up having to pay more for alot of things. like clothes which my mum doesn't want to sponsor me, or cute little things i buy when i'm feeling high and stressed (eg. stickers, combs, SWEETS and CHOCS!!!) and most importantly FOOD! it might just be a few cents but a few cents go a really long way ok! dont play play. must PRAY PRAY instead that they dont increase it anymore.

anyhows, youth day today. and i was feeling so lethargic and hot the entire day. physics was hell and i wanted to die. i dont understand CRO and i don't see the need to. i'm so gonna go for arts in jc (or at least i think so for now). hcl was sleep inducing as well, and ths scholars not paying attention doesn't exactly help.

however, concert was by far the best i've seen in 4 yrs. i was complaining before the concert that we put in so much effort for tcher's day, yet tcher's dont put in effort for us on youth day. they always put up silly items and don't even rehearse the item before the concert. but this yr was pretty hilarious. at least the humanities and english department put up decent items. and let's just say...maths and pe department TRIED yea? hahas. and ms tan was so funny when she totally ripped off lydia's "ms tan, look at my pants"-flip up skirt- that was totally what lydia did to ms tan when she came in for lesson a few days back. funny shit. the dance by the english and humans combine department was so funny too. and i think the dance moves are a tad bit too suggestive. ravi looked hilarious by the way. and now we know which teacher clubs aye? but yea, it was a good 45mins of laughter and no stress.

after concert we still had to survive 2 periods of hcl before we're free. but it was ok i guess. waited around in the canteen for exco and we had a super quiet birthday song for gutong, erika and i. ((= the crystal jade strawberry cheesecake was really nice. yummy!

went down to far east to meet mum. checked out artris or sth to find out how much would it cost to make a prom dress. $150 onwards for knee length, $200 onwards for long to the ground kind. yup. but don't think i'm gonna make one since i spotted sth i like. then we walked around abit in those random shops upstairs to find more options. but since i'm looking for sth all the way to the ground (don't ask why), there wasn't much choices and we didn't spot anything good at all. went over to tangs to try our luck. and i ended up looking at daniel yam again. hiaz. to think i didn't want to get anything there cause there's a high possibility of clashing with others. but that's the only place i found sth i like. and mumsie reasoned that there won't be high chance of clashing since like nobody wears long dresses nowadays. (which is like so totally true. i'll be damn off) so yea, i'm eyeing 3 dresses there. but i kinda know what i want already. i'm still gonna go over to auntie's place to check out her dresses since mum says that she has some nice ones. so i'll decide after that.

i'm glad i survived the first week of skl. i'm kinda living for the weekends again. and i dont want to do that. hiaz. but there's like history every sat from now on. so weekends aren't weekends anymore since saturday is my only entire free day for the week. sucks yea.

ok i'm gonna crash and head to skl by 7.30 tmr. argh!
