those tears of joy which flowed so freely today

o level results came out today. I could hardly concentrate during lessons the entire day and my heart sank even further when zhao lao shi said that someone out of the 42 in class got a b3. I was so so scared it was amazing I managed to survive lessons today. So the day passed in a blur and all I could think about was the release of results at 2.30pm.

as the time drew nearer, we heard more and more news and found out that the seniors did even better than the prev few years. The pressure is definitely on us now to at least maintain the standards. \= and we had a top scorer of 10 a1s! (= and the top scorer from the Indian community came from crescent too! I’m so proud of crescent la. I don’t want to leave this year. )=

and I was so so so nervous waiting in the hall I think I almost died. And when I got back my results I didn’t dare to look till zifang looked and said no need to worry. Then I looked and started to scream for joy while hugging chuting v violently. Haha…then I started to cry. I was just so relieved and glad that god has definitely helped me through. And one thing I learnt is to really rely on god more and just trust him instead of worrying about the results the whole time. Then I cried even harder when I found out that all the 2g1’05 ppl got a1!!! Just felt so happy for them. Then I walked arnd to look for snrs and all.

Well…some did well some didn’t…and some was so happy some was sad. Being in the hall has helped me see that we can never be certain about our future. Anything can happen. Like someone who gets 6 pts for prelims might get a 10 for o levels. And someone who didn’t do well for prelims can do well for o levels. So yea…to snrs who have done well…like yifang, I’m so so proud and happy for you. And to those who didn’t get the marks you want…I just want you to know that this will not be the end and pls go on ahead in life bravely. I’m sure as long as we work hard…we can do it. (I’m sorry I’m a total klutz with this kinda things)

Of course credits for doing well for me goes to God for helping me and giving me the wisdom I need. There’s flag day tomorrow and tons of homework to complete…
