He has the world in His hands

well..i've been talking to q a few people about christianity and all. i guess i really got to read up more. lik my church doesn't agree with alter calls, speaking in tongues and jumping around during worship. and i know alot of churches are doing these now. so i always got to tell them why i don't agree. and it's really challenging at times. Despite the fact that i've been a christian for almost ten years (actl nine to be exact), my bible knowledge is still so weak! i'm v sad about that. sometimes i just wished that i can use the same serious attitude towards bible reading like when i'm studying. it's like i make it a point to study and remember facts from textbook, but for the bible i just read through the verses ones or twice and do reflections. i don't memorise verses. and even if i do memory verse, i only remember it for that instant. and most of the time at the end of the day it would be out of my brain already. hiaz...there's so much to learn from the others. and i really must keep to my promises to God.

anyhows, i'm totally happy that Ng Zifang has accepted christ!!!you probably won't believe this, but i was jumping in joy when she told me!(= you know, i've also realised that having a strong relationship with christians are really important. because at times you would need them to remind you to stay strong in the Lord and all. and i've also realised that i've got to take the first step out to know people better. like during family camp, the speaker did say that God is the bridge to knowing brothers and sisters in the Lord. so this is possible with God as the bridge. and like i always complain the bonding in church is not enough and all. but if i take the step out, i know things would improve. yups...talking to christian friends lately has helped me to reflect on my current situation with God.

anyway, i'm supposed to go jb with my mum today. but until know she's still doing her work. so i don't know if i'm going. actually supposed to study with amanda la. but then my mum wants me to go with her. (unless she changes her mind later.)

well there's alot of stuff i need to complete before 2007 comes!
1. FINISH UP THAT DANG PILE OF HOMEWORK!
2. midnight shopping at vivo
3. get the brown tube dress (if it fits nicely)
4. go sentosa with gang!
5. do the luge and skyride there
6. try to catch the Guess sale (anyone pls update me if there's anything good to get)
7. Do more shopping!
8. get my textbooks
9. get sport shoes for school
10. give my hair a trim??? (i havent decided on this tho)
11. get small gifts for exco
12. meet pearlyn and get the stuff she bot for me!
13. treat pearlyn to gelare. (this applies only to tues cuz i wanna catch the waffles day!cheapo i know)
14. fondue at hagen diaz (not sure if it's good. but it looks nice)
15. catch up more with darlings.
16. maybe last meet up with sk and lt? (we'll see if time permits)
17. go to bugis and dig for cheap stuff!

that's all i can think of. this list might be edited...so yea.

it's off to hit the books.
